Collecting interest · Musical director appointed first
I’m Ravicens, a singer and songwriter building a core band for an original live show. I’m looking for student musicians with a strong feel for soul, funk, pop, and blues. Players who can also sing backing vocals are especially welcome.
Listen to the songsWhat I’ll provide
Original songs, demos, lyrics, and clear creative direction. The musical director and I will develop arrangements and rehearsal references with the band in mind.
What you’ll do
- Prepare your parts and arrive ready for focused rehearsals.
- Bring a strong pocket, responsive dynamics, and ideas that serve the song.
- Help build a polished first 60-minute set, with room to grow.
- Contribute harmonies or call-and-response if you sing.
Who would fit
Reliable keyboardists, guitarists, bassists, and drummers who listen closely and enjoy developing original material. Students from universities across the area who are beginning their careers are welcome; I’m looking for ambition, potential, and drive. Feel, preparation, and collaboration matter. Let me know your comfort with charts, learning by ear, and backing vocals.
The project
Project Ravicens documents my journey as an artist and producer, building an original live show and an audience. The first band appointment will be the musical director, who will help shape arrangements and select the ensemble.
